Update: WordPress 3.8.1 released now, check details

As per update from Andrew Nacin WordPress 3.8.1 is now available for final testing, so if you are interested in testing the upcoming version you can find the zip file for the 3.8.1 version in his post here or just click on the link below in his quote.

WordPress 3.8.1 RC1 is now available for final testing. Here’s a zip, or you can set the WordPress Beta Tester plugin to “point release nightlies.” (Trunk, which is 3.9-alpha, also has all of these fixes.)

We hope to get this released to you as early as tomorrow, January 23. Once 3.8.1 is released, we’ll wait a few hours before turning on automatic background updates, which will then be gradually rolled out over about a day.

WordPress 3.8 was released on 12 December 2013 which was downloaded more than 9 million times, now it’s the turn for version 3.8.1.

WordPress 3.8.1 is mainly focused towards bug fixes on version 3.8 which was a huge success in terms of the number of changes the team made with the admin dashboard.
