1)Ninja Popups
Who the hell said email marketing was dead? Don’t quote me on this, but I recently read somewhere that the ROI on email marketing was in the thousands (crazy huh?). I’ve used a bunch of plugins and I have got to say, Ninja popups is a must have wordpress plugin. However, there are a ton of free popup plugins as well.
2)WPtouch
A mobile responsive site will render differently depending on the device. Everybody has a cellphone now and having a mobile responsive site is tantamount to being successful. However, developers can charge you in upwards of thousands to get this done. WPtouch is a cheaper alternative and this is why it belongs on our list of 7 must have wordpress plugins.
3)Wordpress SEO by Yoast
If you don’t know what this is, you’re probably brand new to wordpress. This is the most used analytics plugin on wordpress and has over a million downloads. There’s not much to say for this except – get this plugin.
4)Easy Social Share
If you have interesting content, people will want to share it on their social networks. If you don’t have interesting content, well, you’re out of luck.
This wordpress plugin makes it easy for your readers to instantly share your content.
5)Broken Link Checker
Indexwp.com has over 500 indexed pages and it would just be too hard to keep track of all the links.
This useful plugin will scan your site and tell you exactly which links are broken. After the scan, you can easily go in and clean them up.
6)Social Locker
I friggin love this plugin!
If you have useful content, you can make them “pay” for it with a social share. There is a free version that gives you 3 share options. With the paid, you have more themes, more social networks and you can even specify the text that gets shared.
