WordPress for iOS version 4.8 was released few days back and it is packed some cool upgrades including navigation enhancement and an exciting new editor. Let’s look at some of the exciting new updates.
Visual Editor
WordPress has come up with a new beautiful visual editor with this release. You can add rich texts like bold, italics, links and lists as you type, the best thing is that you can upload images with a click and see them uploading process and images in the post itself
People were longing for a “what you see is what you get” editor on iOS. . Prior to the upgrade, the editor was a HTML mode where it was difficult to read and write content. Not everybody is comfortable with coding and it isn’t very convenient as well. The upgrade makes it simpler for everyone, now you make changes on the visual editor without writing a single code. The new editor also comes with an HTML toggle for those who are interested in coding and doing more complex styling.
Image Settings
The visual Editor also comes with image settings such as editing image title, alt text, adding caption, link, size, alignment and you can do all this while you’re writing with a single tap.
Updated Navigation
The new version iOS 4.8 comes with an additional navigation tab, “My sites” included in the version. You can manage your sites via “My sites” tab, while the tab “me” will still take you to the home of your accounts settings.
WordPress has come with some notable features with this release and sure to make working on WordPress more enjoyable experience. The updates makes it WordPress more accessible to all those on the go and makes it more user-friendly.
