BuddyPress 2.0 Beta 1 is released and is ready for testing, if you are a BuddyPress user or perspective BuddyPress user, do give this software a test run.

BuddyPress 2.0 is due for release in mid April and coming out with some exciting changes, so, get started and have a feel of the upcoming version

Some of the important modifications/changes outlined in the BuddyPress 2.0 Beta 1 release mail are:

• New tools added in the tool section (Dashboard> Tool> BuddyPress) for for correcting data that occasionally gets out of sync on BP installs
• Non-Multisite installations can now perform spam actions from Dashboard > Users
• Changes done on registration section as well where you will find a new subsection to handle pending users (Dashboard > Users)
• Replies on any blog post in activity section will create a corresponding comment in the blog post itself.

As it is a beta version run it on a test server
